In the plant kingdom, explain where parallel evolution occurs.
The flower was a major contributor to land based reproduction. Although few angiosperms (flowers) still rely on wind to pollinate their flowers (mainly trees), most angiosperm flowers are vector pollinated meaning a biotic or abiotic agents, such as wind and bees, that move pollen from an anther to a stigma. This results in a parallel evolution between angiosperms and animals (mostly insects).
